The Lord’s promises for our lives bathe us with fresh hope for today. We can stand, rest, awaken, and walk sheltered in the truth of God. He is trustworthy to do what He says.
As we go about our day, let’s keep our minds focused on who God is—his character and his attributes— rather than the problems and responsibilities of the day. Father is so much more than what is confessed below, but these are the ones that speak the most to me.
May they also speak to you with fresh hope for today!
Today I choose to walk with my mind set on the character of my Lord. I hold tightly without wavering to the hope I affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.
He is holy. A reconciler. Loving. The restorer of the Breach. Full of life. Nothing is too hard for Him. Merciful. All powerful. Omnipresent. All-knowing. Compassionate. Wise—full of perfect, unchanging wisdom. A God of unity. Faithful. Just. Gracious. Glorious. The very essence of peace itself. All-knowing. Unchangeable. Unfailing. Redeemer. A dwelling place. Full of truth. Forgiving. Trust-worthy. Good.
I trust Him.
